Hans-Georg Steinrück, an invited speaker at the DPG Symposium “Correlative and in situ Microscopy in Materials Research” coorganized by GRK 1896 receives 2019 Spicer Award for energy storage research at SLAC’s X-ray synchrotron.

The award emphasizes how important in situ methods are to tackle one of today’s social grand challenge in energy storage and conversion. Further, in our function as coordinators of the CENEM research training unit GRK 1896 and coorganizers of the above mentioned DPG symposium, we are very happy to act as a link between excellent international young researchers like Hans-Georg and our talented GRK 1896 members.

Congratulations and all the best for your future scientific career Hans-Georg!
